Belpaflex comprises two asbestos free paper sheets assembled around a central rectangular perforated steel sheet (cellulose fibers impregnated with plasticised gelatine with metal insertion). It is suitable for use as a high temperture resistant cylinder head gasket and exhaust manifold gaskets on petrol and diesel engines and is resistant to oil, fuel and cooling mixture.
