Mechpro Blue Jumber Lead Cables could be your best friend in a multitude of situations that would otherwise be awful. Ensure your vehicle is always ready to go when needed. Throw these in the boot & keep them there in case you need them.
Before using, please ensure to follow instructions on the pack before connecting cables. Specifically, please ensure batteries are of same voltage, ensure the two cars being used don't touch, ensure engines are turned off and that both cars are in neutral, park, or have the handbrake on before connecting the cables.
Starting sequence for negatively earth vehicles:
1. Connect RED lead to POSITIVE + terminal of BOTH vehicles batteries
2. Connect BLACK lead to NEGATIVE - terminal of the boosting battery & engine block of vehicle with FLAT battery
3. Start engine on BOOSTING vehicle & allow engine to idle normally
4. Start engine of vehicle with FLAT battery & allow engine to idle normally
5. Once engine of vehicle with FLAT battery is idling normally, turn off BOOSTING vehicle & disconnect booster cables in the reverse order.
