Step 3 of 4 – Configure your Shelves
You’re one step away from fully functional Rack It 1000KG shelves. The next decision, MDF or Wire Shelves? Both, maybe?
MDF shelves offer a robust shelving solution for your Rack It system and can also be used to create a work bench top.
MDF Shelves are available in 897 and 1197mm widths. To find the correct size, configure your Shelves to match the width of your Beams in your Rack It 1000KG system.
This 1197mm MDF Shelf is specifically designed for use with 1264 and 2464mm Beams:
1264mm Beams require 1 x 1197mm MDF Shelf
2464mm Beams require 2 x 1197mm MDF Shelves
897mm MDF Shelves (I/N 2760250) are required for 972, 1872, and 2765mm Beams.
To install, just place the MDF Shelf into your already installed Beams and Braces to complete your robust 1000kg weight loading Shelves.
And don’t forget, you can mix and match with Wire shelves.
Note: MDF is designed for general purpose interior use only. It is not suitable for outdoor use or areas where wetting or high humidity and moisture conditions are likely. To further protect against surface mould that may disfigure the surface appearance, it is recommended to apply brush-on preservatives or a coat of paint.
