Storz adaptors are available manufactured from either Brass or Light Alloy depending on the application in commonly used male and female BSP thread sizes.
We do not recommend the use of inferior low cost casted Storz couplings for fire protection applications.
Genuine forged products will be clearly marked with both the ManufacturerÂ’s mark as well as their forging mark from the forge.
Note that some inferior cast manufactured Storz products even though they are cast, are commonly supplied with the word “FORGED” marked on them.
