Hi-Tec Trans FD-1 SAE 60 has been formulated to meet the requirements of the Caterpillar Final Drive FD-1 and TO-4 specifications where friction material is not required. It is suitable for use in Caterpillar final drives, axles and differentials, heavy-duty off-highway haul trucks and wheeled and track-type tractors. It is not suitable for powershift transmissions or for oil-immersed brakes or clutches, unless recommended by Caterpillar.
